This is a presentation of the paper authored by Olubayo Adekanmbi, Wuraola Fisayo Oyewusi and Olalekan Akinsande. When Nigerians text, tweet, post on Facebook or any other social media platforms, they tend to switch between different languages, the most common one being Nigerian Pidgin English.

The focus of this work was on how to identify sentiment from these social media messages.
