Dubbed the ‘Gender Knowledge Synthesis series’, it will focus on issues of critical importance as we struggle to create a more inclusive and equitable world with AI and emerging technologies.

Decoloniality, Gender & AI: Where do these areas of work intersect?
This discussion will delve into pressing issues surrounding gender, racial, and intersectional bias within Artificial Intelligence and Algorithmic Decision-Making processes. These biases, often originating in the Global North and replicated in the Global South, need urgent correction to unlock the pro-social potential of AI and ADM. This webinar will explore how the projects of decoloniality, feminism, and AI intersect, as they all share concerns related to power, representation, and justice.
