This project, implemented by Villgro Africa under the first phase of the AI4D program, aimed to foster an ecosystem of development-oriented entrepreneurs and innovators leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to address local challenges across sub-Saharan Africa. By prioritizing inclusivity, sustainability, and rights-based approaches, the initiative sought to lay the groundwork for responsible AI development, ensuring AI contributes to a more equitable and prosperous future for the region.
